A Top Noch Experience at Longing For Home Bed and Breakfast

Why stay at a small bed and breakfast?

The answer is simple!!  A personal touch ....... from the owner and host.

Picture your arrival to a place where dreams are made and where the day to day grind seems .... so far way!

Experience a warm welcome from the owner and host to begin your escape with a personal tour of the inn and all the amenities and special treats that are yours to enjoy.

Be shown to your room and realize you can't wait for the door to close so the so you can ..... experience the decadent gourmet cupcake that is there awaiting your arrival.

When the weather is warm spend your day lounging by a great pool
       or ........

In cooler weather slip into the large hot tub and try to count the stars on a clear night.

Get the best nights sleep on a deluxe sleep number bed and start your new day with a great three-course breakfast.

Sounds inviting doesn't it ....

Have a blessed Day.

2012 Valentine At Longing For Home

Merrill Garden residents eagerly await the day's celebration
We, here at Longing For Home, love the Valentine season!  For the third year we hosted a Valentine Tea for a group of great folks from Merrill Gardens Retirement Community.

Katie and Lindsay
Strawberry Delight cupcake

Honored guests enjoyed luscious handmade
gourmet cupcakes, beautiful singing by great twins,
Katie and Lindsay,
then Betty and Bill danced the Rumba, sorry no pics.

Featured this year was a Flamenco demonstration performed by Robert Adler a Spanish professor at University of North Alabama.  Robert has studied the art of flamenco for over 4 decades and performs with a flamenco troupe out of Birmingham, Alabama.

The group departed the Inn with a resounding ...Ole'!

Have a blessed day. Betty Maloney
