In honor of our Country’s veterans Longing For Home Bed and Breakfast, Rogersville, Alabama gave away their guest rooms to those that have served, are presently serving and retired from military service on 10-11 November 2011. “This is the second year we have had the privilege to host veterans and their spouses to a free night here at Longing For Home. Given the sacrifice veterans and their families have and are making for this country, giving a few the opportunities to come and be pampered for a day is a good thing to do,” states Betty Maloney.
Upon their arrival at Longing For Home our guests discovered our signature gourmet cupcakes in their rooms and snacks for them to enjoy during their stay. They also enjoyed a three-course breakfast along with stories about Rogersville. For most, this was the first visit to Rogersville and they enjoyed visiting our shops as well as our fine dining here.
Longing For Home joined 490 bed and breakfast inns across the United States that also honor those who serve each Veterans Day with a free night.
Have a blessed Day. Betty Maloney
