Great North Alabama Day Trip, Weekend Escape and Alabama's Best Cafe'

Looking for a great day trip from Huntsville, Florence, Athens or Decatur Alabama or a weekend escape from Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL?  We invite you to visit Rogersville, Alabama. It is a great place!

We'll greet you with a friendly welcome as you stroll along our main street and take time to explore a collection of unique shops that offer popular items an early 1900's atmosphere.

When you need a break from your shopping, take a seat in Cafe' Savanna's covered patio and sip a latte, cappuccino or frappuccino and engage one of the Cafe's original deserts while you enjoy the atmosphere created by the exposed woodwork of this early 1900 building.

Located in heart of  Rogersville's historic downtown, there is always a friendly atmosphere at Cafe' Savanna where everything is homemade ....  from the bread for the sandwiches to the scrumptious desserts!  Salads, such as chicken, broccoli, tomato/cucumber to name a few, are made fresh daily.

Cafe' Savanna's Chicken Salad, its signature dish, was on 2010's "100 Alabama Dishes To Have Before You Die List."  Come give it a try.  You may become on of the many Cafe' Savanna customers that say it is the best they ever had!!

From Wheeler Lake and Wheeler State Park to friendly conversation in Cafe' Savanna, there is much to explore in the growing Rogersville community.  Come for a weekend or for a few days during the week and escape the big city.  Longing For Home, the only bed and breakfast in northwest Alabama, is your ideal home away from home as you discover the beauties of North Alabama and the culture unique to a small Southern town.

Cafe' Savanah, is open Monday - Saturday 8 am - 4 pm all during the year and Memorial Day through Labor Day, open on Thursday - Sat until 8 pm.  The Cafe' is located 1 block off Highway 72 in Rogersville, AL.  From I-65, travel west approximately 20 miles, turn North at the traffic light onto Highway 207/Wheeler St, go one block and turn right at the 4 way stop onto Lee St.  Cafe' Savanah is on the left 5 buildings from the corner.

Have a blessed Day.
